Games Inbox: Dead Island Marmite, the best of Tetris, and Metro 2033
Dead Island is a strange game. Marmite-y. It’s in my pile of games to get ready to trade but every time I put it on to get through it I actually really enjoy it. When I’m going through the menus to start it up I’m thinking ‘I can’t be bothered with this’ but I load it up anyway and set myself on a quest and it’s great fun. I think you said something about the combat being rubbish in your review, I don’t agree, it’s nice and brutal and weapons really feel like they’re hitting. I also love the graphics, it’s a good looking game. I like how it’s a zombie game but set in broad daylight, the water glimmers and it’s very colourful with the trees, sand and whatnot. I’ve never really been into zombies but this is one of the better zombie experiences I’ve had. Sure, it has its faults but honestly, I don’t give a Hoover Dam. On reading your Tetris 3DS review and comments on the best version of the game I was reminded of a particular favourite version of mine, Super Twintris on the Amiga . I forget whether it was a PD (public domain) or shareware game but it was excellent in its execution. Simple clear graphics, pretty decent music, great controls and some lovely little touches. Just downloaded Metro 2033 last weekend for not much over 10 quid and I have so say what a brilliant game, it actually felt a bit like stealing for that price. It’s probably the reason why I’ll not look at another review score again (anything under 8 I usually say no) it’s highly atmospheric and unique compared to most first person shooters, it has some obvious issues but nothing to hindering, e.g. some checkpoints are just ridiculous and ammo is at times way to short in supply, but they certainly have my attention for the sequel. Why does Battlefield 3 need people to open ports in their router on the Xbox 360, could DICE not use the same four ports as every other game on Live?Tetris Games Free Shareware - News

Worms, Team17 and the future of Britsoft
Worms really is a perfect social game. I also love the idea of free-to-play as it opens up whole new regions and demographics, so we'll also be moving into this area at some point on various platforms. We also want to start playing around with some new
