Nintendo has created what is considered one of the best games ever on their Nintendo 64. Rumors of a Microsoft console did was in its infancy. It was a time when video games started to become a more acceptable form of entertainment in the world in general. This was the beginning of an era when a game was not as "geek" as it used to be. Increasingly got into it, and increasingly abandoned the stereotypical idea that video games are for nerds. It was a time when exclusive games were a major element of the image.I'm sure many of us remember the classic games such as Crash Bandicoot and Spyro the Dragon. These two exclusive titles for the original Playstation. In fact, this is where the dogs of the industry top of Naughty Dog (Jak, Uncharted) and Insomniac (Ratchet & Clank, Resistance) started to really build their reputation. Moving a different kind, no one ever forgot Final Fantasy. Square Enix back and then two separate companies, Final Fantasy series started on the Playstation exclusitivity on the PS2, and the exclusivity of Final Fantasy VII is considered one of the greatest RPG of all time.Nintendo is world renowned characters that survive to this day. During the time of the N64, Nintendo honored us with our first 3D game of Zelda, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and is considered one of the best games ever by many players. It was not all, however. Mario the plumber has also been critically acclaimed with games like Super Mario 64, Mario Kart and more during his jump to the third dimension. Even Fox McCloud and Kirby took a certain notoriety on their way, and everyone shares the wealth in Super Smash Brothers. Even when Sega still made its own console, they had the glorious Sonic the Hedgehog.One might as well put Microsoft in the mix. Their first exclusive title, Halo, First Person Shooters is more popular than ever when the Xbox finally reached store shelves.

At one point in Naughty Dog’s history, they were working to make the next big mascot for Sony’s first gaming platform. That character turned out to be Crash Bandicoot, and he turned into quite a success story. Eventually the character would make it over to all sorts of other platforms, but without his successful first outing, he wouldn’t be around today. I actually a little of both Crash and Spyro. Spyro was a really long time ago and I didn't know how to play games so the memories are vague, but I remember having fun with Crash Bandcoot. There was an entry on the PS2 where you rolled around in a ball and flew around in a hot air ballon (or some other flying machine, don't really remember). It was pretty fun for the short time that I played it. After that, I kinda just forgot about the character. It would be great to see a reboot or remake like what Rare did with Nut and Bolts (though I haven't played it and I'm not sure if it was all that popular...). I don't care what anyone says, Crash is still bad ass. Crash of the Titans was a huge surprise for me, and I'm hoping I can find Mind Over Mutant one of these days. I want more Crash, preferably handled by the team who did the DS version of Crash of the Titans. Was damn near identical to the original games... Oh, yeah, this was interesting.
