Three Island Days Celebration begins with events downtown, at Three Island Crossing State Park and Elmore County Fairgrounds. Highlights: Mountain Man Competition (knife and tomahawk tossing, tall tales and beaver skins) at state park; 4-6 p.m., chili cook-off downtown; and street dance downtown in the evening. Since Amber is humble and talented - I find myself creating my first blog, I hope I did not ruin it too bad. About six weeks ago Amber decided to enter the contest violin Idaho Open. Amber had not played a lot lately and decided at the last minute to enter the contest. She entered the Young Adult Division and won!She did a phenomenal job and because she won a contest certified she learned to play in a special division in the national competition held annually in Weiser Idaho - so a couple of weeks ago she went and played there and I'm not just saying this because she my wife - I say this because it is the truth - it was amazing!
