Milne Public Library CWMARS E-books adds Project Gutenberg and ...
Today the C/W MARS OverDrive Digital Catalog has been updated with the new features of the Project Gutenberg Collection and the LibraryBIN (Buy It Now) Program.
The Digital Catalog now has access to over 15,000 public domain titles through Project Gutenberg. You can find these items by clicking the “Public Domain eBooks” link on the front page. Here patrons can browse these ebooks by title, author and subject. These titles also come with their own search box on the screen, so direct your patrons to that instead of the Search box at the top of the catalog.
When patrons look at digital titles that are currently checked out, they will now see a link that will give them the option to purchase a copy for themselves through the Library Buy It Now Program. Patrons can purchase their own copies of titles they want and a percentage of the proceeds will come back to C/W MARS as a purchase credit.
Don’t forget to let your patrons know we have a Digital Catalog survey available on the site for feedback on their devices and title preferences.
